Job Requirements:

  • Valid NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License
  • Fluent in Russian, Ukrainian, or Polish, bilingual preferred
  • Must be willing to work in Elizabeth or Union, NJ
  • Reliable transportation
  • Have compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing clients' well-being and quality of life as a CHHA.
  • Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
  • Provide direct client care, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and medication reminders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
  • Provide transportation, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, and grocery shopping as needed.
  • Support clients in completing activities of daily living.
  • Influence clients' quality of life through promoting patient safety, hygiene, healthy eating, medication adherence, clean environments, happiness, and social engagement.
  • Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors.
