Overview

All Metro Health Care, part of Modivcare’s Personal Care Services, is seeking a dedicated RN HHA Instructor/Educator to lead training and continuing education for Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs). In this role, you will prepare caregivers to deliver exceptional home care while maintaining compliance with state and agency standards. This position reports directly to the RN Clinical Manager.

This is a part-time, non exempt role assigned to a single office location. No travel is required.

Position Highlights

Hourly Pay Range: $36.50 – $40.86 (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,500

Monthly Commitment: Approximately 11–12 days per month

Schedule Structure: Three specific weeks required each month
• One full week, Monday to Monday, for the 48-hour PCA training
• One week with two days dedicated to new-hire skills
• One week with three days for in-services
Hours: Generally 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM on scheduled training days

What You’ll Do

• Lead engaging training classes for HHAs and PCAs.
• Organize and manage all HHA training sessions, materials, and presentations.
• Clearly communicate workplace expectations and requirements to students.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance the training curriculum.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of attendance, progress, and grades.
• Plan and deliver in-service training programs for All Metro Health Care staff.
• Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse (RN) – current license required.
• 2+ years of home care experience.
• 2+ years of direct supervision of HHAs and/or PCAs.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Flexibility to travel between the Binghamton and Corning offices as needed.
